PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade polishing device for ice skates polishing for sharpening the corner of the edge of a blade without putting out the rock-form without requiring skill. SOLUTION: Templates 13, 14 whose upper end surfaces 13a, 14a are of the rock-form and a blade clamp means 15 clamping blades B upwardly and in parallel with the templates 13, 14 are provided in a base 12. A blade height positioning means 16 is mounted on and fixed to the templates 13, 14, and blade surfaces B1 of the blade B clamped by the blade clamp means 15 is made to abut thereupon from beneath to be thereby positioned to the height corresponding to the upper end surfaces 13a, 14a of the templates 13, 14. The blade height positioning means 16 is removed, a polishing means 17 is set on the templates 13, 14, and the height of polishing tools 10, 11 is adjusted so as to establish required polishing margins. The polishing means 17 is manually moved copying the upper end surfaces 13a, 14a of the templates 13, 14, and thereby the blade surfaces B1 are polished. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
