摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a coating robot easily reproduce the movement of a manual spray gun for coating which is obtained when a skilled technician applies coating to an object to be coated using a manual spray gun for coating. SOLUTION: This teaching device for a coating robot is equipped with: an acceleration sensor (stored in an acceleration-angular velocity detection part 14 in the figure) which is attached to a manual spray gun 10 for coating and detects, in time sequence, an acceleration acting on the manual spray gun 10 for coating; a storage means (stored in a control unit 13 in the figure) for storing the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor; and a generating means (stored in the control unit 13 in the figure) for generating the position control data to make a robot 20 for coating reproduce the movement of the manual coating spray gun 10, based on the acceleration stored in the storage means.
