PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce transmission of vibration to a vehicle body, to prevent thermal deterioration of hanger rubber, and to improve assemblability of a muffler to the vehicle body. SOLUTION: In this supporting structure, a pair of right and left side frames are provided on a lower side of a rear floor of a vehicle, a back panel extended downward from the rear floor is joined to a side frame rear end part, reinforcing plates are joined to positions opposed to rear end parts of the side frames on a vehicle rear side wall surface of the back panel, a stay extending to a rear side of the vehicle is mounted on each of the reinforcing plates, a bumper member extending in a vehicle width direction is mounted on a rear end part of the stay, the muffler is arranged on a lower side of the rear floor and a front side of the back panel, and the muffler or the exhaust pipe connected to the muffler is supported on the vehicle body by the hanger rubber. A flange part located on a lower side of the bumper member in a vertical direction in the reinforcing plate and extending on the vehicle rear side from the back panel is formed.
