PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-fuel cell that more effectively utilizes energy originated from a living thing by supplying treatment liquid after microorganism treatment also to a positive electrode as well as a negative electrode. SOLUTION: The bio-fuel cell includes the positive electrode and the negative electrode through a separator, and a bio-active material-contained liquid to be supplied to the positive electrode is a treated liquid after aerobic microorganism treatment, and the bio-active material-contained liquid to be supplied to the negative electrode is a treated liquid after anaerobic microorganism treatment. Preferably, a positive electrode chamber and a negative electrode chamber are adjoined through the separator, and each of the electrode chambers includes an inlet and an outlet of the bio-active material-contained liquid, and the positive electrode chamber includes the positive electrode immersed in the bio-active material, and the negative electrode chamber includes the negative electrode immersed in the bio-active material.
