Also provided are compositions, including pharmaceutical compositions, methods of inhibiting histone deacetylase, methods of increasing histone deacetylase-controlled gene expression in a cell, methods of treating a disease associated with increased histone deacetylase activity, methods of inhibiting growth of a cancer cell, and methods of treating cancer in a subject that comprise a compound of Formula I.
