Provided are a scanner apparatus and a scanning method capable of increasing scanning speed and compensating for content distortion. A light-emitting unit is provided to emit linear light onto an object. An imaging unit captures the three-dimensional form of the object. An image conversion unit obtains height information on the object by obtaining the distortion of the linear light from the three-dimensional form, and uses the height information to perform positional interpolation of the three-dimensional form of the object into a two-dimensional form.
