<p>A cutting depth adjusting and locking mechanism of hand-held circular saws comprises: a housing (1) having a hand-held tail portion for gripping and a working head, wherein the housing (1) is provided with a driving mechanism therein; a saw blade (2) driven by the driving mechanism and rotatablely disposed in the working head, wherein at least a part of the saw blade (2) forwardly protrudes from the working head; a guard (3) used for enclosing the saw blade (2) protruding from the working head, wherein the guard (3) is rotatablely disposed on the working head, and an elongated opening (8) is provided on the guard (3) for the saw blade (2) to protrude from the guard (3) when the guard (3) is rotated backward relative to the working head; and a locking mechanism provided on the housing (1) which is capable of restricting and locating the displacement of the guard (3). Compared with the prior art, the adjusting and locking mechanism has a simple structure and its operation is convenient and easy.</p> |
