CONTROL UNIT OF THE MAXIMUM SPEED FOR THE FORKLIFT BY SENSING WEIGHT OF ITS LOAD AND ITS METHOD

PURPOSE: A device for controlling the maximum speed of a forklift truck according to the load of a workpiece and a controlling method thereof are provided to prevent overturn accident by locating the workpiece apart from work equipment. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the maximum speed of a forklift truck according to the load of a workpiece is as follows. Forklift truck velocity information is transmitted to a controller(2) by using a transmission control unit(4). Workpiece load information is transmitted to the controller by a workpiece sensor(1). An engine RPM control signal set in an engine control unit(3) is outputted from the controller according to the workpiece load information and forklift truck velocity information. The revolution per minute is controlled less than RPM by the engine control unit.
