FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises fuel combustion, acceleration and pushing out inert bodies and combustion products in direction opposite the force application direction. Fuel is combusted in separate high-pressure chamber during the entire period of force pulse generation. Acceleration of inert bodies is carried out sequentially. All inert bodies integrated in a pack are transferred at speed lower than that separate body pushing out. Said separate inert body is separated from the pack and accelerated to speed of pushing out separate body that ensures generation of required force pulse. Note here that combustion products used for transfer and pushing out of inert bodies are throttles at reduced pressure. Proposed device consist of housing, combustion chamber, charge and inert bodies representing webs. Combustion chamber represents a separate high-pressure chamber attached to the housing. The charge is placed in high-pressure chamber. Inert bodies are integrated into a pack. Low-pressure chamber is arranged between the housing and inert bodies pack to communicate via discharge hole with high-pressure chamber. Note here that local cavities are made between contact surfaces of inert bodies and housing walls.
