<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness allowing efficient removal operation, and improved in recycle performance; and a method for removing the wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: The wire harness 1 includes a plurality of wires 3, and an optical fiber 5. The plurality of wires 3 are bundled to each other. The optical fiber 5 includes a core and a clad. The optical fiber 5 is overlaid on the outer periphery of the wires 3 and is disposed in the longitudinal direction of the wires 3 and is bundled with the wires 3 in an exposed state to the outside.
