PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue issuing an alarm as long as a fire occurs even when a smoke decreases once after the alarm is issued due to the smoke of a fire. SOLUTION: The fire alarm is provided with: a smoke detection part 12; a heat detection part 13; a heat detection part control means 14 for permitting or prohibiting operation of the heat detection part; and a control part 18 for actuating the smoke detection part 12 on alert to determine the presence of a smoke fire, and for, when determining that there is a smoke fire, causing the fire alarm to issue an alarm, and for starting the operation of the heat detection part 13 by the heat detection control means 14, and for repeatedly determining the presence of a heat fire, and for, while determining that there is a heat fire, causing the fire alarm to continue issuing an alarm.
