<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus whose treatment target is water containing organic compounds forming a coordinate bond with a metal ion as a target and which reduces the amount of activated carbon used in activated carbon adsorption treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus includes a Fenton treatment means whose treatment target is water containing the organic compounds forming a coordinate bond with a metal ion and which performs the Fenton treatment of the water, a coagulation treatment means which adds a coagulant to the Fenton treated water having been subjected to the Fenton treatment to perform coagulation treatment, a biological treatment means which performs the biological treatment of the coagulation treated water having been subjected to the coagulation treatment, a pH adjusting means which adjusts the pH of the biologically treated water having been subjected to the biological treatment to ≥4.0 and ≤6.0, and an activated carbon adsorption treatment means which performs the activated carbon adsorption treatment of the pH adjusted biologically treated water having been subjected to the pH adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
