PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin printing plate, which reduces a plate surface tack after forming a pattern on the surface of a printing original plate by a laser engraving method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the resin printing plate including a support body and a resin layer formed on the support body includes (1) a laser engraving process for irradiating the sheet-like or cylindrical resin layer with laser to form recesses on the surface of the resin layer, (2) a process for heating the surface of the resin-engraved resin layer, and (3) a process for cleaning the surface of the laser-engraved resin layer by a predetermined method.
