PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variant bacteria belonging to the genus Bacillus and excellent in the productivity of a protein or polypeptide. SOLUTION: This variant bacteria belonging to the genus Bacillus is provided with that any of≥1 genes selected from Bacillus subtilis ribosome protein genes rpmB, rpmF and rpmJ, and ribosome protein genes corresponding to these genes are deleted or inactivated, and the recombinant bacteria belonging to the genus Bacillus is provided by introducing a gene encoding the objective protein or polypeptide into the variant bacteria belonging to the genus Bacillus, as capable of expressing the same.
