<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose for an electrical vacuum cleaner having excellent flexibility and crash resistance, and low ventilation resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the hose A for the electrical vacuum cleaner, a strip T made of synthetic resin material having a substantially S-shaped portion in which an inward side edge section 201, an outer periphery 202, a rising portion 203, an inner periphery 204 and an outer side edge section 205 are provided consecutively in the cross section, is wound in a helical shape. The adjoining strip side edge sections are overlapped and bonded and integrated together so as to form a recessed and projected hose pipe wall. An extension portion 206 is projected from a connection portion 204a between the inner periphery 204 and the outer edge side section 205 in the hose axial direction, and a hose inner peripheral surface is formed substantially flat.
