PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injector injecting a small amount of fuel in a wide fuel pressure range while reducing the size thereof. SOLUTION: The fuel injector includes: a valve needle 20 controlling fuel injection through an injector outlet; a control chamber 18 receiving the fuel; and a three-way control valve 10 controlling fuel pressure in the control chamber, controlling opening/closing movement of the valve needle, and controlling the fuel injection through the outlet.
