<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation fitting for a roof capable of continuously exhibiting superior tightening and fixing force over a long period without allowing the state of the tightening and fixing thereof to a roof plate member to be loosened. <P>SOLUTION: In this installation fitting for a roof, a fitting body 4 is structured in such a shape that a lower holding plate part 9 and an upper holding plate part 10 are arranged continuously with the upper and lower ends of a rear plate part 8 so as to face each other in the vertical direction by bending and forming one sheet metal member 7 in a generally U-shape. A tightening bolt 11 is installed between the lower holding plate part 9 and the upper holding plate part 10, and a nut 12 screwed to the tightening bolt 11 is rotated for tightening. Since the mutually facing interval of the lower holding plate part 9 and the upper holding plate part 10 is narrowed, a holding part 3 for tightening, holding, and fixing a roof plate member 1 is structured.
