PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical agent feeder capable of securing stable solution of a solid chemical agent by regulating the inflow of water through volatilizing holes. SOLUTION: The chemical agent feeder 1 includes: a feeder body 2 for storing the solid chemical agent 4; and a lid body 3 for covering the upper part of the feeder body 2. The feeder body 2 consists of a lower member 6 and an upper member 5 which is integrally formed on the upper part of the lower member 6. The upper member 5 has an overhanging portion X which overhangs outside in the long diameter direction relative to the lower member 6. The lower end of a short side wall part 52 protruding laterally by the overhanging length of the upper member 5 is not in contact with the upper end of an impervious wall 75 formed on the upper part of a short side wall part 72 of the lower member 6 corresponding to the overhanging portion X of the upper member 5, and the upper end of the impervious wall 75 is set at least at the same level of the lower end of the short side wall part 52 of the upper member 5, thereby forming the volatilizing holes 74 opening downward on the lower surface of the overhanging portion X of the upper member 5.
