PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing coupling device in a simple structure, which can slide and rotate a display device side casing from an operation key side casing in a portable terminal such as a portable telephone. SOLUTION: The casing coupling device 10 which can vertically slide two casings 1 and 2 and rotate them to a T shape includes: a first coupling plate 11 provided with a pin 13 and a rotary shaft 14 and attached to the casing 1; two parallel slide rails 21 and 22 for freely slidably holding a slide plate 20 attached to the rotary shaft 14 of the first coupling plate 11; and a second engaging member 12 provided with a guide groove 23 positioned on the outer side of one slide rail 22 for guiding the pin 13 of the first coupling plate when the two casings 1 and 2 are slid and rotated, and attached to the casing 2. The pin 13 and the guide groove 23 are provided so that the position of the pin 13 is the same position of the guide groove 23 in both of the overlapped state and T-shaped state of the casings 1 and 2.
