PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sensor capable of processing easily an extremely thin linear detection part having a small heat capacity, and to provide a high-response sensor having excellent quality. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the sensor having a thin linear detection part 13 on each part of conductors 11, 12, the thin linear detection part 13 is formed by removing partially linear raw materials 1, 2 used for the conductors 11, 12 so that at least each part 11a, 12a of the conductors 11, 12 has a smaller diameter than residual parts 11b, 12b of the conductors 11, 12 in a specific direction.
