PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a sliding door, which can be used as a partitioning door for a room of a detached house, a condominium or the like, without having a rail which becomes a barrier to walking especially for a disabled person and an elderly person, so as to respond to barrier-free access. SOLUTION: The sliding door 1 is installed openable/closable to right and left between a sill 2 and a head jamb 3. A sash roller 4 which slides in a groove rail 3a of the head jamb 3, and a coil spring 5 which retains the sliding door 1 between the sill 2 and the head jamb 3 are attached at an upper end of the sliding door 1. The sash roller 4 and the coil spring 5 are attached inside a sash-roller housing concavity 9 provided at the upper end of the sliding door 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
