PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from infiltrating in a cabin without increasing cost, in a weather strip for an automobile, which includes a base fitted to a vehicle body and a seal integrally connected to the base and contacted with the inner side surface of a door for ensuring the sealing property in the cabin, in which the end surfaces in the longitudinal direction is merely touched to each other without being integrally connected. SOLUTION: A finny projection 19 is integrated with a seal 11 at one end 17 of a weather strip 4.
