PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact-sized and superior portable strap non-contact gripper that enables a person to utilize the strap where it has likelihood that microbes such as viruses adhere to it. SOLUTION: A stainless-steel plate is press worked to form a pair of separate fitting hook pieces 12 fitting a hand holding location 22 of a strap ring 21 at the upper end of a base body 11 and at the same time a hand engaging hole 13 is arranged to pass through the surface of the base body 11 and to complete a gripper 10. When a person gets on a vehicle, the fitting hook pieces 12 are inserted into a space of the strap ring 21, pushed down and a plurality of fingers of that person are applied to the hand engaging hole 13 to use a strap 20, and in turn when the person gets off the vehicle. the fitting hook pieces 12 are removed away from the strap ring 21. In this way, it is possible for the person to keep a stable attitude against the sway when getting on a public traffic vehicle while avoiding infection of microbes without touching the strap ring 21 with hand or fingers.
