PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide switch capable of obtaining large operating force at slide operation. SOLUTION: For the slide switch 100 provided with a case 1 with at least an upper part opening, a slide member 2 held by the case 1 in free slide movement and equipped with a plurality of engagement parts fitted consisting of concavo-convex parts, a plurality of click leaf springs 3 equipped with swollen parts 31 engaged with and disengaged from the plurality of engagement parts in accordance with slide movement of the slide member 2, a detecting means for detecting the slide operation of the slide member 2, and a metallic cover member 4 covered on an opening of the case 1, a second leaf spring (42) capable of biasing the click leaf spring 3 toward the slide member 2 is arranged at least at one of the rear-face sides of the click leaf spring 3.
