PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension control device capable of keeping the constant tape tension by enhancing the following property for adjusting the tape tension. SOLUTION: The tension control device includes a hollow rotary ring in which an object with a tape being wound therearound is concentrically inserted, a rotating unit for winding the tape around the object by rotating the rotary ring, a tape reel which is rotatably provided on the rotary ring to hold the tape, and a tension adjusting unit having a constant tension spring for changing the tape conveying path length from the tape reel to the object to adjust the tension of this tape to be constant by changing the tape conveying path length corresponding to the tension of the tape to be conveyed.
