PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator for a compressor capable of reducing the price. SOLUTION: The accumulator for the compressor includes: a suction pipe for sucking a refrigerant at the upper center of a cylindrical closed container; discharge pipes for discharging the refrigerant, penetrated through the container from the lowest part and erected to the inside upper part; and a baffle plate having a plurality of holes between the suction pipe and upper ends of the discharge pipes. The suction pipe is made of a steel material and copper plating is applied to the upper end side of the suction pipe, so as to reduce the price of the accumulator for the compressor and make connection with copper piping connected to the upper end of the suction pipe by welding equal to conventional connection.
