<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method of a suitably operable multi-chamber type air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is composed of a plurality of indoor units (not shown in the figure) connected to an outdoor unit (not shown in the figure) arranged with a compressor 21. A compressor accumulator 39 and a sub accumulator 22 of the outdoor unit are mutually connected from a bottom part of the sub accumulator 22 via a capillary tube 23 for the sub accumulator and an expansion valve 24 for the sub accumulator separately from connection by a suction pipe 40. During starting control of the compressor 21 when cooling or heating operation is started, the expansion valve 24 for the sub accumulator is fully opened for a predetermined time to return coolant and oil staying at the bottom part of the sub accumulator 22 to the compressor accumulator 39. After lapse of the predetermined time, an opening degree of the expansion valve 24 for the sub accumulator set as a first set value. After ending the starting control, the opening degree is set as a second set value when compressor operation frequency exceeds the set value, and the oil is securely returned to the compressor accumulator 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
