PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station device which allows efficient power consumption in comparison with conventional devices. SOLUTION: If a wireless communication terminal 30 being a target of accommodation doesn't exist in the neighborhood of a femtocell base station 10a, the femtocell base station 10a stops radio wave transmission to the wireless communication terminal 30 and radio wave reception from the wireless communication terminal 30. The femtocell base station 10a determines whether the wireless communication terminal 30 exists in the neighborhood of the femtocell base station 10a, on the basis of information of a UATI update notification transmitted from the wireless communication terminal 30 being the target of accommodation, via another base station communicating with the wireless communication terminal 30. If the wireless communication terminal 30 exists in the neighborhood of the femtocell base station 10a, the femtocell base station 10a starts radio wave reception from the wireless communication terminal 30.
