PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a traffic accident of a pedestrian and vehicle even in a foggy place and adverse weather. SOLUTION: A traffic accident prevention device includes a microwave sensor that emits microwave radiation to a crosswalk provided on a vehicular road, a notification part, and a control part which allows the notification part to notify that there is a pedestrian crossing the vehicular road when the pedestrian crossing the vehicular road is detected, based on the detection results of the microwave sensor.
