摘要 The invention relates, inter alia, to a method for temperature control of fuel cell or electrolytic converter stacks (10), which each consist of a multiplicity of bipolar plates (15) arranged in a stack. In this case, an electrolyte membrane (14) is in each case provided between two adjacent bipolar plates (15) and has a gas diffusion layer (14a, 14b) on both sides, and each bipolar plate (15) consists of an anodic bipolar half-plate (16) and a cathodic bipolar half-plate (17), which are electrically conductively connected to one another and between which temperature control channels (18) are provided. The temperature control channels (18), which are arranged in the respective fuel cell or electrolytic converter stack (10), in each layer of bipolar plates (15) have a temperature control medium applied to them row-by-row in the stacking direction, in the opposite sense to the temperature control channels (18) of adjacent layers of bipolar plates (15), transversely with respect to the main through-flow direction (c) of the operating media, and, furthermore, the temperature control medium is carried away transversely with respect to the main through-flow direction (c) of the operating media. In this case, the temperature control media flows through each bipolar plate (15) transversely and/or longitudinally and/or at any desired angle corresponding to the geometry of the temperature control channels (18) which result from the shape of the anode channels (19) and cathode channels (20).
