The air spring (2) has two connectors for producing connection between a chassis side part and an axle side part. An elastomer bellows (4) is arranged between the connectors and surrounds an air spring space (6). One of the connectors is designed as a rolling piston (10) on which the bellows rolls during compressing and rebounding processes. The other connector is designed as an elastic bearing (8) with an elastomer padding (12), where the elastic bearing has a radial cylindrical edge in a region of the elastomer padding including a steel cable.
