NUCLEAR MEDICINE DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND NUCLEAR MEDICINE DIAGNOSIS DEVICE

A PET device and a processing method, which can be applied to other calculation mechanisms and are thus versatile since the calculation processing of steps (S4) (forward projection) and (S5) (back projection) on list data (generated from the event data obtained by detecting a ? ray) are performed in parallel for each LOR.  Furthermore, the PET device and the processing method can prevent memory contention to realize speeding up because of performing the parallel processing on the list data and performing the parallel processing in the step (S4) (forward projection) and the step (S5) (back projection), respectively.  Consequently, high versatility and the speeding up of the calculation can be achieved.
