An online charging method and system in local breakout roaming scenarios are disclosed in the present invention, and the method includes that when the online charging is used in a local breakout roaming scenario in an evolved packet system, and during the process of an IP-Connectivity Access Network (IP-CAN) session, a Visited network-Online Charging System (V-OCS) modifies the credit control decision sent by a Home network-Online Charging System (H-OCS) according to the policy of the visited network, and then sends the modified credit control decision to a Policy and Control Enforcement Function (PCEF) entity; and said PCEF entity implements the modified credit control decision. The present invention can apply the local policy of the visited network to the online credit control and management for users, and can implement the coordinated work between the V-OCS and the H-OCS.
