<p>Proofreading compsn. comprises (a) DMSO for cleaning the sensitive resin layer, (b) at least one cyclic ether as resin solvent, (c) at least one alkyl acetate, ketone and/or chlorinated aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon, as ink solvent, (d) hydrofluoric acid as mordant and (e) finely divided silica as thicknener, the compsn. being in the form or a water-soluble colloidal gel. The compsn. may be used on all types of plate currently in use. It is easily and rapidly used on presensitised aluminium plates.</p> |
