<p>A unit incorporating two parison extrusion systems each feeding moulds on one of two mould turntables discharging to a common take-off system. The mould halves are actuated by rollers following guide rails which ensures rapid opening and closing actions. Pref. the blowing heads have at least two telescopic nozzles which serve to inflate the parison or to suspend it for cooling during subsequent cycles of the table. Pref. the device for pinching and ejecting the lower end of the parison is a turntable fitting and not a mould fitting. Esp. compact and flexible for mfg. thermoplastic bottles of various sizes on one machine. Spare moulds do not each require parison pinch and ejection systems. The multi-nozzle blowing heads allow the extrusion, blowing and ejection systems to operate continuously despite extended cooling periods lasting for more than one cycle of the turntable.</p> |
