<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device using an LED as a light source element and driven by an AC voltage, which is achieved by a simple circuit structure without containing an inverter circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device is configured by combining a rectification part 110 which generates a both wave rectifying voltage higher than its effective value from an AC voltage supplied to AC input parts A1, A2 with a light source part 120 including a plurality of light-emitting diode groups which are driven by the both wave rectifying voltage and connected in series. The both wave rectifying voltage supplied to the light source part 120 from the rectification part 120 includes a pulsating current component of double frequency of the frequency of the AC voltage, and the average value of the voltage is the same level as the voltage drop at the time of emitting of the light-emitting diode group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
