<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional display which presents a three-dimensional image to be observed by an arbitrary number of observers from arbitrary positions around without requiring the observers to mount specific devices or requiring a device which occupies a working space. <P>SOLUTION: A light beam-control element 1 has a conical and trapezoidal shape, and is fitted into a circular pore part of a top plate 51 so that a bottom aperture of large diameter may face upward. The light beam-control element 1 transmits light beams while diffusing them in the ridgeline direction, but does not diffuse them in the circumferential direction to transmit them linearly. A rotary module 6 is provided below a table 5. One or more scanning projectors 2 are arranged on the circumference, whose center is the axis of the light beam-control element 1, on the turntable 63 of the rotary module 6. The one or more scanning projectors 2 are rotated by the rotary module 6.
