<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure roll for a device useful in printing with a long service life when used to be exposed to release agent. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure roll 250 includes: an intermediate layer 254 that includes silicone rubber, and is the first layer that includes a first external surface, a first end surface, and a second end surface on the opposite side; an outer layer 256 which is provided on the intermediate layer 254, includes a polymer, and is a second layer that includes a second external surface, a third end surface, and a fourth end surface on the opposite side; and a sealing material 260 that includes a polymer that is impermeable to release agent containing silicone oil and has chemical resistance to it, is fixed to the first, second, third, and fourth end surfaces, and covers them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
