<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dead battery in an electric vehicle with certainty and enable data transfer without inconveniencing users. <P>SOLUTION: A communication destination information storage means D2 stores communication destination information of an information management device 20, set in advance outside of the electric vehicle. When an accessory switch of the electric vehicle is turned OFF, a charge-in-progress decision means 11a determines whether a battery B is being charged. When the charge-in-process decision means 11a determines that the battery B is being charged, a control means 11b controls a wireless communication means 16, and performs at least one of transmission of updatable information or reception of update information for updating updatable information with the information management device 20 indicated by the communication destination information.
