<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device measuring characteristics of reflection light on a display surface of environmental light from an external part as well as characteristics of a display panel, and accurately adjusting the display characteristics thereby, based on the measurement results of them. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed part 2c is formed in a frame-like member 2 surrounding the display surface 1a of a liquid crystal panel 1 and an optical sensor 5 is arranged in the recessed part 2c. The optical sensor 5 is arranged toward the display surface 1a such that a light receiving surface 5a is inclined with respect to the display surface 1a by a prescribed angle. Such a configuration that light is guided to the light receiving surface 5a of the optical sensor 5 arranged in the recessed part 2c of the frame-like member 2 by using a light guide member in which a light collecting surface disposed so as to face the display surface 1a of the liquid crystal panel 1 and a light shielding surface disposed so as to face the front side of the liquid crystal panel 1 are disposed stepwise, is preferably provided. Such a configuration that light is reflected to the light receiving surface 5a of the optical sensor 5 by a mirror which is disposed in the recessed part 2c so as to face the display surface 1a of the liquid crystal panel 1 and the light receiving surface 5a of the optical sensor 5, is also preferably provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
