PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can inhibit lowered interests in games. SOLUTION: The game machine has a starter slot which allows the receiving of game balls shot into a playing area. When the game balls enter the starter slot, lottery processing for the jackpot is conducted at a predetermined winning probability. As a result, when the jackpot is won, a jackpot game which awards players a special favor is carried out. In this process, the game machine conducts a reservation performance suggesting the degree of expectation for the lottery processing for the jackpot at a stage before the lottery processing is carried out.
