PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket improving sealability. SOLUTION: In the gasket 10 wherein at least a body portion is composed of a metal plate, a bead 30 includes a first area 31 contacting in one point with respect to a cover and contacting in two points with respect to a housing, and a second area 32 contacting in two points with respect to the cover and contacting in three points with respect to the housing in a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the gasket 10 in a held state of the gasket 10 between the housing and the cover. The first area 31 is provided near each through-hole 20 respectively inserted with a bolt, and the second area 32 is provided in a position separated away from each through-hole 20.
