PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately wash the washing faces of a base board by using a washing tape without twisting the tape into 180° to restrain a cost in the washing, the washing faces being located on the front and back sides of the side edge part of the base board. SOLUTION: A base board-washing device washes the first front-side washing face and second back-side washing face of the side edge part of the base board 1 by using the washing tape. In addition, the device includes: a washing unit 21 including: a first pressing member 11a which presses the washing tape to the first washing face; a second pressing member 11b which presses the washing tape to the second washing face; a feeding reel 16 which feeds the washing tape; a recovery reel 20 which recovers the washing tape; and a tape-advancing mechanism 15 which advances the washing tape along a tape route which passes on the first and second washing faces from the supply reel and reaches the recovery reel; and a washing unit-moving device 50 which moves the removably mounted washing unit in the longitudinal direction of the side edge part of the base board. In this case, the washing unit is provided with an interlocking device which interlocks a tape-feeding action by a driving device, which feeds the washing tape from the feeding reel to the tape route, with a washing tape-recovering action by the recovery reel, the feeding reel and the recovery reel being arranged in parallel in the washing unit.
