PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an existing old-fashioned dwelling house to be renewed as a living space flexibly responding to change of family unit form or diversification of lifestyles and to be utilized as a good building stock. SOLUTION: The multifunctional furniture with sanitary equipment 20 in which a sanitary equipment section 22, a kitchen equipment section 24 and a storage section 26 are integrated is set in a living space 10. A bathroom, a toilet and a washing stand are arranged in the sanitary equipment section 22, and storage furniture manufactured in a furniture factory is arranged in the storage section 26. The circumference of the multifunctional furniture with sanitary equipment 20 is a living space which can be used for a purpose desired by a resident such as a living room, a bedroom or a dinning room, the living space being a migration space where the resident can freely move as a cloister.
