A method of separating domestic solid waste comprises separation into fractions in a liquid medium and removal of isolated light and heavy fractions. First a physical mass of randomly mixed solid waste is loaded from a storage container into a pool, the water level of which completely covers domestic solid waste, where by means of hydrodynamic mixing conditions are created for gravitational separation into fractions heavier than water - metal, glass, sand, which are further separated by electromagnets and sand traps, and fractions lighter than water - polymers, wood, which after removal from the water environment are separated by air and an aqueous suspension of organic waste and minor impurities is obtained, which is isolated as a separate substance carrying out separation into six factions - six material substances having similar physical-chemical properties and technological method of recycling - metal, wood, sand, glass, polymers, organics. |
