A prefabricated construction for keeping heifers is a metal frame, formed of metal columns and metal girders. To install walls, side curtains of synthetic polymer material are used. A roof is covered with a profile installing a light-ventilation crest. Animals are kept freely in heifer sections. The sections comprise an area for allowing the animals to take a rest, the surface of which is covered with litter material, a feed and manure passage, fencing the sections, fencing a feed table. To dispense feeds and to feed thereof to young animals, the feed table is used. To drink the animals, group drinkers are used. Removal of manure from the construction is carried out by a bulldozer. |
