An installation for the decontamination of water by ultraviolet light, in which the supply of the untreated water is carried out with the help of the device for the regulation of water velocity to the inlet additionally fixed in the upper part of the reactor of electro-optical transducer of water velocity, the axis of which is connected with the axis of impeller for mixing and distribution of water to the radiation zone of the reactor through radial holes (atomizers) in the lower lid of the mixer, fixed at an angle to the inner surface of reactor.
