PURPOSE: A method for producing copper alloy in gold color, capable of making gold color similar to pure gold by controlling content of zinc, is provided to improve reproducibility and to reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing copper alloy in gold color is as follows. Copper 50~56wt.%, tin 0.2~5wt.%, aluminum 0.6~5wt.%, the rest zinc are mixed and stirred. After copper is firstly charged in a melting furnace, borax is covered in copper before the zinc, tin, and aluminum is mixed. The mixture is heat-treated in 400~700°C over 30 minutes. |
