PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll segment of continuous casting equipment which is easy in a roll arrangement control and does not generate cracks of a cast slab and the damage of a cast slab guide device. SOLUTION: The roll segment 2 of continuous casting equipment is dividedly arranged in a plurality of stages along a drawing direction of a cast slab W and is equipped with a plurality of support rolls 5 for transporting the cast slab W. In one arbitrary place in the cast slab drawing direction F of each roll segment 2, a plurality of engaging means 6, 6 are installed respectively. Also, in a base frame 8 installed in each position corresponding to the engaging means 6, 6, locking means 7, 7 are installed that positionally restrict in the direction orthogonal to the cast slab drawing direction F. The engaging means 6, 6 are each connected to the locking means 7, 7 installed in the base frame 8 in the corresponding position so that the engaging means 6, 6 are able to positionally restrict the roll segment 2 in the direction orthogonal to the cast slab drawing direction F and that the engaging means 6, 6 are each freely rotatably displaceable in the engaging position.
