<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, wherein the advertising information is not buried in a document image but can be distinguished therefrom not only in color printing but also in monochromatic printing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an HDD 120 which stores the advertising information compounded by image data, an image input unit 103 for inputting image data, an advertising information acquisition unit 106 for acquiring the advertising information from the HDD 120, a positioning unit 105 which detects the margin of the image data and determines a rectangular area having the maximum area in the margins thus detected as the synthetic position of composition information in the image data, a synthetic unit 108 which compounds the image data and the advertising information acquired at the advertising information print position, and a print unit 109 which prints the image data compounded by the advertising information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
